Golf Tourney Raises Record Amount For Scott Wolf Scholarship From birdies and eagles to a historic first, this year’s Scott Wolf Memorial Averitt Open had it all. Thank you to the 123 participants and 13 volunteers who made this year’s event such a great experience! The winners of the tournament were: • 1st Flight, 1st Place – John Haggard (Corporate), Mason Haggard (Corporate), Joseph Stockton (Corporate) and Steven Wallace (Corporate) • 1st Flight, 2nd Place – Mark French (Greenville), Rogers Luna (Corporate), Greg Wilson (Corporate) and Mike Wise (Corporate) • 1st Flight, 3rd Place – Mike Crowell (Corporate), Kevin Kavas (Corporate), Jim Mitchell (Corporate) and Tim Saylor (Corporate) • 2nd Flight, 1st Place – Wayne Baker (Oklahoma City), Justin Burkett (Tulsa), Tom Croft (Atlanta West) and Kent Williams (Corporate) • 2nd Flight, 2nd Place – Terry Beverwyk (Knoxville), Jeff Dunbar (Nashville), Randy McCorkle (Corporate) and Chuck Turner (Greenville) • 2nd Flight, 3rd Place – Bryan Cecil (Louisville), Lyle Daniels (Corporate), Keith Davenport (Tri-Cities) and TJ Nelson (Corporate) In addition to the camaraderie and outstanding golf all around, this year’s event featured a first – Director of Dedicated Sales JIM MITCHELL aced No. 16 to achieve the first hole-in-one in the history of the Scott Wolf Memorial Open! BENEFITING THE SCOTT WOLF SCHOLARSHIP Associates helped raise more than $8,500 for the Scott Wolf Memorial Scholarship through the annual putting contest that is part of the tournament. Additionally, the company made a matching contribution BIRDIES AND EAGLES FOR A GREAT CAUSE
to bring the total to a record $25,500! Thank you to everyone who helped make that success possible! Scott served as our Vice President of Corporate Services until his passing in June 2012. Honoring his wishes, the Wolf family set up a scholarship fund in Scott’s name in 2013. Since that time, 83 students across 13 states have been able to further their college education and continue Scott’s legacy of giving back to his Averitt family.
