Christopher Prelog : Yes, I do love French Polynesia. I have a passion for Tahiti, not just for the islands, but for the people, for the beauty, for the culture. Tahiti is very near and dear to my heart. When I was working on the Star Legend as a crew member many years ago, it was when the ship came through Tahiti where I made my long-term decision, I'm going to stay with cruising. You've never seen as much blue and turquoise combined with green in the mountains of Tahiti. It's a very social country, we have many friends in Tahiti. These long-lasting connec- tions, that's something Winstar Cruises always
creates with guests on the ships. We know of so many guests who met the very first time on the ship and they're sailing every year or more just because they became really good friends. So Tahiti fits perfect to Winstar Cruises. You know, what is cruising? It's memories. When you sail as a crew member or as a guest, you are creating memo- ries. My memories of the beauty of Tahiti came from the crew member side. And they are just getting transported to the guest side now.
