Certify
International Certificate
Certify all levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2
Pearson English International Certificate (previously PTE General) is a prestigious English language test that proves learners’ English language ability at any level.
Computer-based version coming in 2023!
The test reflects the type of language that learners will encounter in English speaking environments , using activities that students are familiar with from their classes. It integrates all four skills (Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing) and focuses on assessing the ability to communicate in English , rather than just test-taking skills.
• Accepted by ACLES ( Asociación de Centros de Lenguas en la Enseñanza Superior ) and by regional education authorities across Spain . • Awarded by Edexcel , the UK’s largest awarder of academic and vocational qualifications and accredited by Ofqual , the official regulator. • Consists of two parts : a written paper - testing writing, reading and listening skills - and an individual speaking test interview with an interlocutor. • There is no separate grammar section. Use of grammar is taken into account when grading.

What does it take to be confident in English? For your voice to be heard? For you to truly be yourself? Our manifesto
It can be a journey of ups and downs. It’s overcoming your inner doubts. It’s having fun along the way. It’s showing strength, and persevering. It’s where you discover what you’re really capable of. It’s having the courage to speak up, without letting the pressure get the better of you. But then, the moment comes when the effort turns to effortless. You’re able to enjoy the achievement of all your hard work. The words flow with ease. Your pronunciation is natural.
Your personality and strengths shine through. It’s a feeling of confidence and empowerment. You’ve expanded your horizons. You’re part of your new community.

So Megan, who are these people? They’re LARPers. LARP, or Live Action Role Play, is a type of game. You can be a character from a film, or create your own character, and then act in an exciting story with other people. 5
Who is your character? My character today is called Dragora. She’s a forest queen with long grey hair. She’s 100 years old, but her face is young. She’s clever and brave, and she can ride dragons. Are you like Dragora? Ha ha, very funny! No, I’m not! In real life, I’m quiet and nervous. And my hair isn’t grey – it’s brown! Why is LARP popular? It’s popular because you can leave the real world and enter a new world – a world of imagination. It’s a great way to make friends – young and old. Everybody is friendly and kind. Who is it popular with? It’s popular with people of all ages and all over the world!
