business operations, rotation of remote work opportunities, and other circumstances will be considered in determining whether to renew the arrangement. The renewal or non-renewal of a Remote Work Arrangement will be documented in writing (email is permissible) by the employee’s supervisor. TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO REMOTE WORK ARRANGEMENTS All Remote Work Arrangements approved or required under this regulation are further subject to and contingent upon the following: 1. The Remote Work Arrangement represents a temporary measure only, and will be reviewed continuously to assess its effectiveness and necessity. 2. The College reserves the right to alter, modify or terminate the Remote Work Arrangement at any time, in its sole discretion. 3. This regulation, and all Remote Work Arrangements approved hereunder, will terminate on June 30, 2022, unless this regulation is extended beyond that date. 4. All approved Remote Work Arrangements must specify the location at which the employee will be working, the scheduled hours during which the employees will be working remotely, and a telephone number at which the employee can be reached during scheduled working hours. 5. The employee must be accessible at all times during the remote work schedule. 6. The employee must check in regularly with his/her supervisor to discuss status and open issues. 7. The employee must be available for video/teleconferences, scheduled on an as-needed basis. 8. The employee must physically attend onsite work meetings or trainings as requested or required by the College or the employee’s supervisor. Supervisors shall use reasonable efforts to provide an employee with at least twenty-four (24) hours’ notice of any required onsite meeting or training that is scheduled on a previously scheduled remote work date. 9. Employees approved for partial Remote Work Arrangements shall not be eligible for reimbursement for travel to and from their home and their assigned on-campus worksite. 10. The employee must continue to request and receive approval from his/her supervisor in advance of working any overtime hours (if employee is non-exempt hourly). 11. Hourly, non-exempt employees who are approved for a Remote Work Arrangement must accurately and completely record all time worked utilizing the KRONOS timekeeping system, paper timesheets or such other timekeeping system as may be required or designated by the College. 12. The employee must take rest and lunch breaks while working remotely in full compliance with all applicable policies or collective bargaining agreements. 13. The employee must request supervisor approval to use vacation, sick or other leave in the same manner as when working at the employee’s regular work location. 14. The employee must at all times maintain a safe, secure and ergonomic work environment and must report work- related injuries to Employee’s supervisor at the earliest reasonable opportunity. 15. The employee may not conduct any in person meetings with co-workers, students, vendors, business partners or other persons at the approved remote work location other than through remote technologies. 16. The employee may not use a personal vehicle to transact any College-related business unless specifically authorized in advance and in writing by the employee’s supervisor. 17. The employee will be solely responsible for providing space, telephone, printing, networking
