National Day of Truth & Reconciliation 2022: Every Child Matters September 26 to 30

In honour of the Indigenous children who were sent to residential schools in Canada, we will learn about their history and why we wear orange shirts. Participants will also learn about the culture and traditions of the Indigenous Peoples of what is now Tillsonburg and the surrounding area.
We are excited to welcome our local schools back into the museum for another Christmas season! This year, we will be movin’ and groovin’ around the Pratt Gallery while we learn about the history of seasonal music. We will then head upstairs and make our own musical instruments.
