The Munoz duo’s journey into the construction industry began in 2014 when both were employed at other firms. By 2017, a pivotal decision led them to establish HD Roofing and Solar. “We were determined to build something of our own,” Deliana recalls. “It was about creating a company that could not only handle roofing but offer something more—a full-service solution for homeowners.” Little did they know that later that year, their mettle would be tested by Hurricane Irma, which swept through Central Florida and left devastation in its wake. “Hurricane Irma was a turning point for us,” Deliana explains. “We went from a traditional roofing company to being frontline responders in disaster situations. Tarping roofs, water mitigation, emergency services—it all became part of our DNA.” This rapid expansion of services was driven by their desire to protect their community and provide relief during its darkest moments. Creating a One-Stop Solution for Homeowners What began as a focus on roofing quickly evolved into a vision of comprehensive service. “We didn’t want homeowners to have to deal with the headache of juggling multiple contractors,” Deliana states. “We wanted to simplify their experience, to be a one-stop shop they could trust.” Today, HD Roofing and Solar encompasses HD Restoration and Construction, handling water mitigation and reconstruction, as well as HD Air Care and Insulation, offering HVAC and insulation services. Together, these entities form HD Home Services—a holistic approach to home care.
