“My boys have been a part of this journey, and that means the world to me,” Buck shares. “One of them is a senior now, but I’m hoping that someday they might join the company full-time. It’s a dream of mine to pass this on to them and see them carry it forward.” Ashley also reflects on the company’s familial atmosphere. “We’re a team, but it feels more like a family,” she says. “Everyone supports each other, and that translates into the work we do for our clients. When you walk onto one of our job sites, you can feel the positive energy. It’s not something you can fake—it’s genuine, and it makes all the difference.”
The future of Hitcher Developments is bright. “We’re growing rapidly,” Buck says. “The economy may have caused temporary delays, but we’re not slowing down. We have a pipeline of projects and investors who trust us, and I know things are going to pick up soon.” Beyond growth, Buck remains focused on maintaining the company’s core values. “Quality over quantity is our mantra,” he explains. “Fewer projects allow us to deliver better outcomes and give each client the attention they deserve. It’s about doing things the right way, not just the fast way.”
