The city recently completed the largest paving project in its history and has a five- year plan to continue improving roadways. Investments in parks and recreational facilities have also been bolstered by a hotel/motel tax, which has funded new soccer fields, walking trails, and facilities. “These improvements benefit residents and visitors alike, making Olive Branch a more vibrant place to live and play,” Mayor Adams notes.
While growth is essential, preserving the character of Olive Branch remains a priority. “We take great care to maintain a balance between new developments and our historical and cultural landmarks,” Mayor Adams explains. This commitment to preservation is evident in the revitalization of Old Towne and the city’s ongoing efforts to enhance its unique charm.
