Teresa McQueen was hired as Corporate Counsel on October 1, 2020. Teresa McQueen brings years of litigation and transactional experience to Western Growers and will support internal clients and members with education, training, and legal guidance.
Western Growers and industry allies successfully intervened as plaintiffs in a case against the California Fish and Game Commission and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. The judge ultimately rejected an attempt by the agencies to list bumblebees under the state’s Endangered Species Act.
