The role of Director of Design & Development is key to achieving Essentia’s strategic ambitions and an influential part of the Essentia senior leadership team, with specific remit for providing leadership in the planning, design and delivery of healthcare facilities that meet the clinical, research and educational needs of the Trust and its partners. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in a senior estate development leadership role with experience of initiating, developing and delivering estate development strategies and programmes to support an organisation’s strategy. You will have strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire team members and internal and external stakeholders whilst effectively managing resources across a complex portfolio of activities. The role offers the opportunity to design and develop world class healthcare facilities across one of the UK’s largest and most diverse healthcare portfolios, creating an environment that in turn will make a fantastic difference to so many.
