By claiming the top prize in the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL), the Rockland Nationals have earned the op- portunity to compete for the Centennial Cup. The Nats, who won the Bogart Cup and thus ending a 49-year drought, are currently in Calgary battling for the Centennial Cup, where the winner will be crowned on May 18. The tournament began on May 8, and fea- tures 10 teams: the host Calgary Canucks and representatives from the Alberta Junior Hockey League, Ligue de hockey junior AAA du Québec (LHJQ), Ontario Junior Hockey League, Superior International Junior Hockey League, Central Canada Hockey League, Manitoba Junior Hockey League, Maritime Hockey League (MHL), Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League and Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL), The Nats, who posted the best record during the 2024–25 CCHL League season, swept the Carleton Place Canadians in the Bogart Cup finals. Centennial Cup with a 4-3 overtime loss against the Edmunston Blizzard, the MHL winner, but bounced back with a dominant 9-4 win over the Braves de Valkeyfield, who won the 2025 LHJQ title. They followed that
win with an impressive 7-2 win over the host Calgary Canucks.
