TO ALL PARTIES HEREIN AND THEIR ATTORNEYS OF RECORD:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT on August 19, 2025, in the United States District Court
for the District of New Jersey, Plaintiff Robinhood Derivatives, LLC (“Robinhood”) will move
this Court pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65 for a Temporary Restraining Order and
a Preliminary Injunction restraining Defendants Mary Jo Flaherty, in her official capacity as the
Interim Director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement; New Jersey Division of
Gaming Enforcement; and Matthew J. Platkin, in his official capacity as Attorney General of
New Jersey (together, “Defendants”) from enforcing against Robinhood N.J.S.A. § 5:12A-11,
N.J. Const. art. IV, § 7, ¶ 2(D), and any other New Jersey law that attempts effectively to
regulate Robinhood’s involvement in transactions involving event contracts traded on a
Commodity Futures Trading Commission-designated contract market.
