UCPNB is committed to creating a sustainable future by integrating environmental stewardship into its core mission. Through programs like Gone for Good, Petaluma Recycling Center, and our Thrift Stores we aim to reduce landfill waste, promote recycling, reuse culture and foster a circular economy. In 2024, our efforts diverted hundreds of tons of recyclable materials, including glass, plastic, and aluminum, while providing inclusive employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Additional sustainability goals focus on expanding mini recycling centers to under- served areas, modernizing equipment to enhance efficiency, and introducing innovative customer options like Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs). By blending environmental responsibility with social impact, UCPNB continues to lead in creating a cleaner, greener, and more inclusive community for future generations. ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
