6th Annual Wine Country Carnival Fundraising Event We proudly hosted our 6th Annual Wine Country Carnival, a key fundraising event that raised vital funds to support UCP of the North Bay’s programs. This year, our ‘Fund a Need’ campaign was dedicated to creating therapeutic gardens at our day program sites, offering clients enriching opportunities for sensory engagement, outdoor therapy, and personal growth. Expansion of Day Program Services Our day program services saw significant growth, expanding to serve more individuals across multiple locations. With the addition of new programs designed to enhance skill development, independence, and community integration, we are better equipped to support people of all ages and abilities in achieving their fullest potential. New Seniors Day Program Facility This year, we also celebrated the opening of our new licensed Seniors Day Program facility in Rohnert Park. This expanded space allows us to offer specialized programs for older adults with disabilities, providing them with a safe, supportive environ- ment to maintain independence, engage in social activities, and receive specialized care. UCPNB Achieves Prestigious CARF Accreditation Through December 2026 We are proud to announce that United Cerebral Palsy of the North Bay has achieved the highest level of CARF Accreditation’, which extends through December 31, 2026. This significant accomplishment reflects our unwavering dedication and commit- ment to enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we serve. Notably, the accreditation report identifies no recommen- dations, an achievement attained by only 3% of CARF surveys. This recognition highlights the excellence of our services, the expertise of our personnel, and our adherence to established standards. UCPNB Awarded $500,000 Beverage Container Redemption Grant from CalRecycle United Cerebral Palsy of the North Bay was awarded a $500,000 Beverage Container Redemption grant from CalRecycle! This generous funding will enable us to expand our recycling and environmental sustainability efforts while providing meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Together, we’re making strides toward a greener future and a more inclusive community.
