Les Panthères d’Embrun s’élancent avec fureur

Ils recevront les Rockets de North Dundas, vendredi, à 20 h, à l’aréna d’Embrun. Départ fulgurant pour Saint-Isidore Les Aigles n’ont fait qu’une bouchée des Rockets de North Dundas en ouverture de saison, le 29 septembre. L’équipe de Jean- François Ducharme a empoché une pre- mière victoire convaincante de 9-0. Les buts ont été marqués par : Richard Beaulieu, 2 buts; Maxime Séguin, 2 buts; David Beloff, Mathieu Desforges, Alexandre Lamarche, Nick Nadeau et Pier-Olivier Pou- lin ont tous compté un but. Les Aigles accueilleront les Cougars de Vankleek Hill, ce dimanche (7 octobre), à l’aréna de Saint-Isidore.

LA PÊCHE | Les Panthères d’Embrun ont entamé en force la saison 2012-2013 avec une victoire éclatante de 7-0 face au Ban- dits de Cumberland. Le tournoi inaugural de la Ligue de hockey junior de la Capitale nationale se déroulait le 29 septembre, à La Pêche. Eric Garrioch a ouvert la machine, tard en première période. Il a refait le coup au deuxième engagement procurant une avance de 2-0 aux siens. Ce fut ensuite au tour de Dexter MacMillan de secouer le fi- let adverse sur les passes de Shawn Ennis et Francis Lafond. En milieu de période, Eric Garrioche a complété un tour du chapeau en marquant sur une passe d’Andries Selst. Le tableau affichait 4-0 après deux périodes. Les Panthères ont poursuivi la leçon au dernier tiers en inscrivant trois autres buts, toujours sans réplique : ceux de Francis Lafond, Charle-Antoine Labonté et Taylor Armstrong. Eric Garrioche a récolté trois buts et une mention d’aide dans ce match. Ryan Kemp a obtenu trois passes. Les Aigles frappent fort aussi Les Panthères ont vraisemblablement rencontré leurs égaux en les Aigles de Saint-Isidore. Ces derniers se sont enfuis avec une victoire de 4-3, en tirs de barrage, dimanche. L’équipe de Jay Campbell avait bien com- mencé le match en prenant une avance de 2-0 en première période. Francis Lafond avait ouvert la marque pour Embrun sur un but marqué en désavantage numérique suivi d’un but marqué par Sean MacDonald. Les Aigles ont riposté tard en deuxième période en inscrivant deux filets, ceux de Richard Beaulieu et de Yannick Lalonde, nivelant le compte 2-2. Les Panthères ont
