The Resident Milestone Initiative honors residents celebrating five and ten years of life, connection, and belonging at Cedarhurst communities.
The Resident Milestone Initiative is helping celebrate something truly meaningful across Cedarhurst communities this year: the residents who have made Cedarhurst home for five and ten years. More than a recognition program, the initiative honors the relationships, routines, friendships, and everyday moments that turn a community into home over time. Each milestone resident receives a personalized plaque installed outside their apartment door, creating a lasting tribute visible to fellow residents, families, visitors, and team members each day. For many residents, those doors represent far more than a place to live. They represent years filled with celebrations, conversations, laughter, support, and connection. The plaques now serve as quiet reminders of those stories and the meaningful lives built within each Cedarhurst community.
Residents are also recognized with a personalized letter from Cedarhurst President Almir Sajtovic and a special moment of celebration alongside team members and neighbors who have become like family over the years. This year alone, more than 140 residents across Cedarhurst communities will receive milestone plaques, with many more residents The Resident Milestone Initiative reflects Cedarhurst’s ongoing commitment to creating communities where every resident feels loved, valued, supported, and able to live life to the fullest.
