THE TIME MACHINE It seemed like a typical Saturday morning, waking up, brushing my teeth, showering, eating breakfast, brushing my teeth, until I returned from the bathroom. I didn't really know what I wanted to do today so as any person would when they ’ re bored, I went to the garage and built a time machine, after finalizing the time machine, I left the garage to get water, food, and anything else I might need for the trip. As I inched closer to the time machine, I started to have second thoughts, my palms starting to sweat, my ears starting to hurt, my heartbeat increasing, and my legs shaking, but I just ignored all of that and walked towards the time machine and went to put in a date, but then a mouse ran under me and I got so shocked that I took off my backpack and have my hands slip onto the big red button, next thing I knew I was stranded in a desert with only the time machine and the mouse to accompany me, As I was checking my surroundings and processing the situation, A beeping noise started piercing my ears, I was looking around so quickly that I ’ m surprised I didn't get dizzy, until I saw that the source of the noise was coming from the time machine, I carefully approached it to see what was happening and to possibly salvage some supplies, and then, the noise started to get louder and faster, I ran from the time machine, grabbing the mouse, I then got to a safe distance from the time machine, It blew up and burst into flames, I quickly tried to get some materials, but it was no use, I even got burned. With the mouse in my hand, I threw the poor rodent far away from me because I blamed it for what I had done, I wasn't thinking straight, I quickly came back to my senses to pick up the mouse and sit down to watch the time machine burn. Night struck, It was so cold, I began to get purple lips, I had no choice but to move on to try to find shelter. In what looked like a mirage, just a couple of steps away there was a lit-up cave, and finally, I saw people, but they weren't like me, they had barely any clothing on, and when I went to talk to them, they didn't speak English, and they were using stone tools, that ’ s when I realized that I had time traveled to the stone age . I immediately began to freak out and started to hyperventilate, I was moving so quickly that I didn't know where I was stepping, and the next thing I knew I woke up on a bed made of coyote skin, I instantly got up and tried to make the necessary materials to make a newly remodeled time machine, but it was no use, I had to ask the locals for help, I searched until daylight for someone who spoke English, and finally, I could ask him to show me how to make iron.

COP28 With countries constantly coming up with new solutions to address the climate crisis it is no doubt that global warming is a pressing issue. Although the temperature rise can happen naturally, since the industrial revolution, human activities have exponentially increased the rate of climate change. This essay will examine the science of climate change as well as some of the possibilities for mitigating and adapting to its consequences. It will also explore Germany ’ s goals to address climate change and the use of hydrogen power from electrolysis. The Earth's climate is undergoing rapid and concerning changes. The average global temperatures have surged by approximately 1.1 ° C above pre-industrial levels 1 (refer to figure 1), and the past few decades the Earth have witnessed an alarming increase in extreme weather events.

Both weather and climate are determined by the absorption of solar radiation and the resulting re-distribution of that energy through radiative, advective, and hydrological processes. 2 Solar radiation is also the reason by which the Earth can remain warm, this is known as the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is responsible for Earth's steady and hospitable average temperature. Without it, the temperature would plunge to -18 degrees Celsius and our planet would be uninhabitable.

2- BrianPOP Science (>> link)

BrainPOP offers educational animated videos and lessons covering different science top- ics. Each featured science topic comes with illustrative videos, quizzes, and accompanying activities.

3- Discovery Kids (>> link)

Another excellent source of educational video content to help kids learn about different sci- ence topics. The site also provides interactive games and links to mobile science apps for kids.

4- Science Kids (>> link)

As its name indicates, Science for Kids is a website that features a treasure trove of educa- tional science materials. These include online games, experiments, lesson plans, quizzes, science projects, free activities and many more.

5- National Geographic Kids (>> link)

Nat Geo Kids enables science lovers to explore the world of science through a collection of apps, games, magazines, toys, videos, and many other materials.

6- BBC Bitesize (>> link)

This is based on the UK curriculum and has many learning and revision exercises.
