Welcome to our 2026 Annual Production Sale! Welcome to our 50th annual production sale! It gives us great pleasure to be sharing some of the most versatile cattle in the industry. We are using the experience of the last 50 years to develop bulls that will calve easy, grow fast, marble well and have the structure to stay in your herd for years to come. This has been our goal since our AI program started. We are very proud to have the 2nd and 3rd generation keeping the legacy of the Deckert Simmen- tal Ranch alive.
The bulls were developed on only grass and mama’s milk until weaning, then are placed on a balanced high fiber ra- tion to keep them growing and sound. As in the past, we will keep the bulls until May 1st and deliver them up to 200 miles with a passing semen check. What makes us most proud is seeing the DSR genetics work in our customers’ herds. That comes from our own cows having to prove themselves in a commercial environment. The heif- ers that we are sharing all have the potential to make a big impact on your herd. We used the Right Mate program to select the best matings, so we are excited to see the outcome of these calves. All the heifers have been given the Scour Bos vaccination and are poured with Clean Up. A number of heifers are due towards the end of March so please make arrangements to pick them up as soon as possible, as we do not provide delivery on the females.
