Dear Lady “Woman Beside the Man” met Beverly Overholser, wife of South Central Division Director Dennis Overholser, active with the Texas Show Car Assoc. in helping with registration and whatever else was needed.

“Rappin’ with the Reps” featured North Dakota State Rep, since 1986, Lanny Moore who was instrumental in founding the North Dakota SRA & was a member of the Prime Steel Car Club. Action” magazine, taking over the reins from Steve Anderson who had moved to become a Feature Editor at “Car Craft.”

The 2nd Midstate Rod & Custom Nationals in Decatur, IL, hosted by the Lincoln Land Kustoms & Early Idlers Street Rod Club drew over 600 rods & customs and 10,000 spectators.

In National News, the Darryl Starbird National Rod & Custom Car Hall of Fame announced a 20,000sq.ft. expansion and its 4th Anniversary Celebration hosted by Tom Vogele & Jerry Weesner.
