After a good warm-up, Saint-Isidore goalie Ghys- lain Nadeau got the wall up for the next 20 minutes. The Aigles tied it 3-3 before the last period. The new fondue: maple syrup! Fondues have been a part of our culinary traditions for many years. Moreover, for its part, maple syrup is actually a part of our history. Why not merge these two traditions to add some originality to our meal? After the chinese fondue, the cheese fondue, the chocolate fondue, and the meat fondue, we now have the maple

syrup fondue! Ingredients: • 500 ml (2 1/2 cup) maple syrup • 250 ml (1 cup or 16 tablespoons) 35% cream (whipping) • 40 ml (1/4 cup or 4 tablespoons) corn starch • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) cold water • fresh fruit cut in pieces

Directions: • In a pot, bring maple syrup and cream to a boil • Dilute the corn starch in the water, and stir into the boiling mixture using a whisk • Pour into a fondue pot and place over the burner • Serve with an assortment of fresh fruit
