In the month of February, a small town buzzed with excitement. Why? Because something special was about to happen.

Emma was a young girl who lived with her mother, a very kind woman, and her father. They had a cozy house near the school.

One morning, Emma’s father said, "We're going to have a surprise visitor tomorrow." Emma couldn't believe it and asked, "Who could it be?

That night, Emma thought about her visitor. "Could it be my cousin from across town, or a different town, or maybe my friend from school, or could it be any other person she knew?" she wondered aloud her favourite stuffed animal tucked under her arm.

The next day, Emma and her family worked together to clean their house. They wanted everything to look great and really perfect. Emma's mother said, "We should clean these rooms first." Is there any other area where we only need to tidy up?" They started to build a pile of rubbish where they worked.

Minutes ticked by slowly until the doorbell rang. Emma ran to the door, her heart racing with excitement.

When she opened the door, there stood her brother and sister! They had come home from college for a visit.

Emma was thrilled. "I thought you wouldn't be here until after the school year!" she exclaimed.

Her brother laughed and said, " It’s alright, we already bought tickets, caught a ride and decided to come early because we missed you so much and didn’t want to lose more time!"

Emma introduced her brother and sister to her school friends who had come over to see what the surprise was all about.

: As they were playing, Emma saw her sister talking to many women from the neighbourhood, sharing stories about her college experiences.

The whole family and all the friends spent the day together. They played games and shared stories about interesting things they had done through the year.

As the day turned into evening, everyone sat around talking and laughing. It was a day full of joy and surprises.

Emma asked her brother and sister, "Can't you stay only one more day?" Her sister replied, "We shouldn't, we have to go back to school, and we have already bought return tickets."

Before going to bed, Emma told her mother, "This was the best day ever. I love when we're all together!"

Her mother hugged her tight and said, "Always remember, the best surprises are the ones that bring us together with the people we love." You know that, don't you?"

That night, Emma went to bed with a big smile. She knew that even though tomorrow was just another school day, today was a memory she would always cherish.
