DNA TESTING All Wicks cattle have had tissue samples collected for 100K through the American Simmental Association with Neogen. The 100K tests for parentage and coat color as well as many genetic conditions and enhanced genomic EPDs. The bulls have correlating ASA registration numbers and EPDs. The EPDs were as of Jan. 29, 2026. BRAND INSPECTION: A brand inspector will be available on sale day. SEMEN TESTING: All bulls in the sale have passed semen testing. RETAINED SEMEN INTEREST: Wicks Cattle is retaining 1/3 interest share in every bull selling in this sale. Full possession and full salvage value sell with the bull. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements made sale day take precedence over any printed material. ANY PERSON ATTENDING THE SALE DOES SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. Neither the owners, nor any person connect with this sale assumes any liabilities legal or otherwise. DELIVERY OF THE BULLS: Delivery of long-aged bulls will begin the day after the sale. Free delivery up to 200 miles is provided by us. Any mileage beyond 200 miles, we will work with the buyers.
BRED HEIFERS: We would like buyers of the heifers to take them as soon as possible. Buyer is responsible for transportation of the heifers. We will work with the buyer. SALE ORDER: Bulls will sell in catalog order. ALL VIDEO SALE: This is an all video sale. Videos of all lots will be played on two big screen TVs on sale day. You can view these videos prior to the sale at www.wickscattle.com or through DVAuction. There will not be any animals entering the sale ring. This makes sale day a much lighter load for us and the cattle. All lots will be displayed in pens for you to view on sale day. We strongly urge you to go through the cattle and make your critiques outside; this will help you during the sale.
