HOUGHTON RANCH BRED HEIFERS We welcome the Houghton Ranch to this year’s Wicks Cattle Bull Sale. Grady and Glen Houghton have brought in a very nice, hand-picked set of SimAngus bred heifers, and we are honored to have them here. The Houghton family has been great customers and friends for several years, and this offering reflects the quality they are known for.
These heifers are heavily influenced by Wicks Cattle genetics and were selected from a group of 100 bred heifers. They weigh between 1,050 and 1,100 pounds and are expected to mature at approximately 1,400 pounds. Bred to proven calving-ease bulls, they will begin calving around April 8, 2026, for a 30-day calving period. Be sure to take a close look at what they have to offer — the heifers will be on display on sale day.
The heifers will sell as a group.
