FIRST YEAR BREEDING GUARANTEE: Breeding season is defined as the 90-day period following first turn out of bulls with your cows. All bulls selling for over $5,000 are guaranteed and a sale credit or replacement bull of equal value (if available), will be given should a fertility or structural soundness issue occur. Notify us, as soon as possible, if this should happen. There will be a $3,500 deductible and the buyer keep’s salvage value of bull. Bulls must be checked by a vet. All claims must be made by October 1st of the purchase year. This is not a mortality insurance policy, nor does it cover injury, illness, neglect or mismanagement. We also do not cover death or injuries sustained prior to the breeding season. Please purchase insurance. Under no circumstance will Thompson Farm’s be liable for more than the net purchase price of any bull. INJURY OR DEATH BEFORE DELIVERY: Injury resulting in death or death of a bull prior to delivery, will not be the responsibility of Thompson Farms. This is an insurable risk that can be obtained by the purchaser.
