This mating is directly out of a full sister to the oh so rich and famous Erica of Ellston T220. Landi McFarland from Hoover Angus said, “the dam of X52 and T220 is Erica of Ellston R96 who would be the best living cow in our herd today, and her grandmother was the best cow in our 98 year history of the program”. When you can stack numerous proven cows in a pedigree, it makes things much more predictable. With that said Ellingson Prosper 3050 brings just that to the other side of the pedigree! The Prosper calves have been a highlight this year and the flush sisters to these three bulls are nothing short of magnificent. When you evaluate these bulls, you will find a perfect set of feet under them, long-bodied, big framed, and bulls with plenty of ribcage. These three also are nice headed, long fronted and good nutted. When you evaluate the genomic profile here, it is quite astonishing. We do not breed with the goal to elevate EPDS here but when performance, phenotype, stacked maternal lineage, and EPDS align, it puts a sire prospect into a category of their own.
