Middle School Captains

The first term of 2024 has been a remarkable and action-packed period, brimming with excitement and a host of activities that brought the college community together.”

The Year 8 camp was a standout adventure at Biloela Bush Camp, where we immersed ourselves in abseiling, canoeing, and low ropes courses. Culinary skills were honed, and the experience was capped with a memorable barbecue and a night spent under the stars in tents we pitched ourselves. Our calendar was further highlighted by a plethora of sporting events such as the Cross Country and the Swimming Carnival, it was wonderful to see everyone taking part and showing off some house pride. The College also held its annual Harmony Day celebration, a day to acknowledge the diverse backgrounds of the school students by letting them showcase their cultural outfits, or wear orange to show their support.

The college has also had a large number of co- curricular activities begin, such as the Da Vinci Decathlon, Debating, Rostrum Public Speaking and many musical groups beginning their rehearsals. Term 1 has been an great start to the year, and we look forward to seeing everyone next term.
