The Engineers' Club of New Jersey was established to follow as a continuation of the original Engineers' Club founded in 1888. The Club was created for those connected to the field of engineering and construction in the tri-state area. The original Engineers' Club formed in NYC with a $1.5 million grant from Andrew Carnegie. The Club had prominent members including Andrew Carnegie, Herbert C. Hoover, Thomas Edison, Charles Lindbergh, Cornelius Vanderbilt, H.H. Westinghouse, and Nikola Tesla. The Club's 32W. 40th Street, New York City building still stands as a National Landmark. Our goal is to bring together other associations in all the engineering, architectural, construction fields through upscale networking events. We raise funds for two NJ local charities, Hope for Veterans and The Valerie Fund. Plus, scholarships for students attending school in NJ acquiring an Engineering Degree.
We raise awareness for:
The Valerie Fund supports children with cancer and blood disorders in New Jersey.
Hope for Veterans houses
homeless U.S. Veterans in NJ.
