The Forest Hills Municipal Building is Pennsylvania’s first zero energy municipal building and is up for LEED Gold certification. The building is designed to face south, has on site stormwater management, and uses engineered timber, solar panels and geothermal energy.

Accomplishing exemplary levels of sustainability, the Gold 1 Parking Facility was recognized as the first Parksmart Gold certified facility in the world in 2018 – with such features as solar power, bike lanes, and rainwater capture.
Heavily damaged by fire in 2015, the Century Inn in Scenery Hill, PA was preserved and restored to National Register of Historic Places distinction, and among other awards was chosen for the 2018 AIA Pittsburgh People’s Choice Award.
