What are Teemark plaques made of? Our boards are made of .75” MDF with wooden veneer, framed with matching solid wood frames. These boards are custom cut to our specifications. Plaque sizes range from 18”x12” to 96”x48”
What stain colors are available? We work with a variety of wood species and stains and are almost always able to create a match or complement to our customers fixtures and décor.
What are nameplates made of?
Contrary to what the photos might lead you to believe, our plates are not flat, two-dimensional black metal plates with gold lettering. Our nameplates are made of solid wood and are laser engraved to reveal raised gold or silver lettering over a hand-painted, wood-grain background and a raised wooden border.
How do we order new nameplates? How long does it take to receive the updates? Do we have to send the plates back to you for engraving? Ordering is easy using our online portal. All new nameplates will engrave identically to all plates already on the plaque. Simply remove the blank nameplate to be replaced and affix the new plate using the two brass screws already on the plaque. You DO NOT need to send plates back to Teemark. At the end of each board’s life, each plate should look like the next, and all rows and columns should be perfectly straight.

What happens if Teemark goes out of business? Teemark is in its 38th year of business. After helping my father for 3 summers while in college and working with him for over 20 years, I purchased the business in 2022. Our reach expands from the east end of Long Island to the cliffs of San Francisco. We work for roughly 500 private golf and country clubs in the US and around the world. Should we close our doors (we won’t!) we would email our customer base with a YouTube video to demonstrate our process so nameplates can be produced going forward
