Insurance: Insurance will be available and recommended on all lots. Insurance will be required on all lots remaining in our care after the sale. Genetic Testing: All lots offered have been DNA tested and are free of known genetic conditions and have no pedigree risks monitored by the AAA, other than ones noted within the sale book. All lots are tested BVD free. Herd Health: All lots selling are on a complete health regimen and will be accompanied with health papers for shipment within the united states. Bulls will be Semen tested. Bred females will be Confirmed Bred. Open females will be confirmed open and calfhood vaccinated. Delivery and Wintering: Bulls can remain at Burns Angus after the day of sale and will continue to be developed free of charge until April 1, 2026. All bulls wishing to remain will be required to purchase insurance on that animal. We will do our best to keep your bulls free of injury, but we are not responsible for injury or death while wintering your bull. We will begin to deliver bulls starting April 1st and deliver free of charge within 200 miles; after 200 miles, actual cost of trip will be applied. Females need to be obtained within a week after the sale. Please communicate your intent to pickup your females following the sale. Trailer Discount: We will offer $100 discount on any bull loaded out and taken home on sale day. Parking: Parking will be available on site with a shuttle to the sale facility. Breeding Guarantee: We guarantee our bulls to be fertile breeding animals through the first breeding season. In the unlikely event that an injured bull is unable to service cows, please notify us as soon as possible and prior to injured bull being sold. If a replacement is available, one will be provided or if preferred a credit towards another bull will be given at next year’s sale. The credit will be for the purchase price minus the salvage value of $3,000 to be applied toward another bull. This is not a mortality insurance policy, nor does it cover mismanagement or neglect. Burns Angus is not responsible for injuries sustained prior to the breeding season.
