Q . Ontario, California — “How -does one reach the mentally retarded?” A. We must consider that there are degrees of mental retardation. This is all the way from those who have in tellects of babies all the way to those who have much lesser handicaps. The age level is important as the message of salvation is presented. We believe that the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ takes care of those who never come to the age of accountability from a mental point of view. Q. Gardena, California — “Please ex plain a comment on Psalm 58:3 which reads, "The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be bom, speaking lies.” A. Here is a forceful declaration that every individual is born with a sin nature. As an example, you don’t have to teach your children how to lie or how to disobey. They are born that way, just as you were. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). GOD'S BUSINESS When Queen Elizabeth I sought for a proper ambassador to represent her in a far country, she summoned the selected man to her palace and told him what she wanted. He was in formed what his responsibilities would be. Of course, he was honored to have the privilege of serving his sovereign, but one problem continued to press upon his mind. He questioned, “But your Highness what about my busi ness?" The queen smiled and then assured him, “You take care of my business and I will take care of yours.” God is saying the same thing to us today. He has some tremendous oppor tunities awaiting those who will con fidently step out in faith and who will trust the Lord to take care of their business, their family, their needs. As Scripture confirms, “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in 'Christ’s stead, be ye recon ciled to God” (11 Corinthians 5:20). 24

Q . Ford, Washington — “According to a certain cult, the word “Jew" and the word “Hebrew” are referring to two different peoples.” A. These terms are used interchange ably. It is as if we said, “We are La Miradans, or Californians, or Ameri cans.” All of those statements are cor- WHEN FATHER PRAYS When father prays he doesn't use The words the preacher does; There's different things for different days. But mostly it's for us. When father prays the house is still, His voice is slow and deep. We shut our eyes, the clock ticks loud, So quiet we must keep. He prays that we may be good boys, And later on good men; And then we squirm, and think we won't Have any quarrels again. You'd never think, to look at Dad, He once had a temper, too. 1 guess if father needs to pray, We youngsters surely do. Sometimes the prayer gets very long And hard to understand, And then I wiggle up quite close, And let him hold my hand. rect. A man can be a father, a son and a brother all at the same time. Jew, Hebrew and Israelite are terms referring to the people who descended from Abraham and Jacob. Many peo ple speak about the “lost tribes.” That expression is never found in the Bible. Israel is scattered (James 1:1) but scattered and lost are two different things. No Jew in all the world knows to which tribe he belongs. With the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D. go fact could be proven. I can't remember all of it, I'm little yet, you see; But one thing I cannot forget, My father prays for me!
