NPORTC 2025

Individual Counseling provides a confidential space for clients to explore personal issues, develop cop- ing strategies, and address underlying emotional or psychological concerns that may contribute to their situation. This one-on-one support is essential for building a strong foundation for long-term recovery. Addressing the frequent co-occurrence of mental health disorders, Mental Health Therapy is a vital aspect of the MAT program. This provides the op- portunity to address any underlying mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, or trauma, promoting a more holistic approach to healing and well-being. At the center of the MAT program is Medication Management. This involves the careful prescription and monitoring of medications, such as Suboxone (for those struggling with opioid addiction), to man- age withdrawal symptoms, suppress cravings, and reduce the risk of relapse. This medically supervised component ensures that medication is used safely and effectively, maximizing the individual’s chances of success. To support the individuals in their recovery, the NPORTC MAT program is built to offer more than just therapeutic services. Recognizing that housing stability can be a significant factor in recovery, the program assists clients with Transitional Housing, providing them with a safe and supportive environ- ment during this crucial time. Additionally, Toxicology Screenings are regularly conducted to monitor progress, ensure accountabil- ity, and provide objective data to inform treatment decisions.
