Hello, We would like to invite each and every one of you to our ranch on April 23 to attend our annual spring “You Buy, We Bid” Bull and commercial replacement Heifer sale. What an exciting time to be in the cattle industry! We are seeing record prices, while having the lowest U.S. beef cowherd since 1961! Never before have we as producers offered as good a product from birth to the plate as we do today. It’s no wonder the demand is so strong for Beef!

In this sale, we have both bulls and commercial replacement heifers for you to choose from. We make it our mission to supply you with the best product and we believe these animals are some of the best the industry has to offer. Since our sale is in later April, we are able to grow the bulls out over the fall and winter and not push them. They are hard and in great condition. We are now offering more aged bulls than yearlings in this sale. We really like the aged bulls for bigger country out west. These guys are made to cover the country and the cows. The heifers are all purchased from some great customers. The majority of the girls came from Jerry Kaup and the Johnson Ranch, and a handful came from Jose Campos. These were all fed a high roughage ration so they will last a long time for their new owners. They should weigh around 800 lbs by sale day. As most of you know, we believe customer service in this industry is extremely important. We try to help as many customers as we can when it comes to marketing their calves. In fact, this season we purchased calves either on order or for ourselves from 56 different bull customers and came in 2nd several other times as well. This is making a huge impact on the prices you all receive on sale day. Not only is it helping you put more dollars in your pockets, it’s helping us with our breeding decisions. We are always trying to improve our bulls and in turn your product, both for you and the feeder once it leaves your hands.
