Sumner College is proud to support our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement. We are excited to offer the Sumner College BSN Academic Excellence Scholarship to reward students who are committed to maintaining a strong academic record throughout their program. Students may apply for the scholarship up to three times: at the end of their first academic year (after completing Term 3), their second academic year (after completing Term 6), and their third academic year (after completing Term 9). Effective Date : This scholarship applies to January 1, 2025, and the term concluding May, 2025. If a student has a credit balance at when graduation requirements have been met , the balance will be issued to the graduate within 30 days after the final term of study. Scholarships are credited to the student’s final academic term of study. Completion Requirement : Students must complete the entire BSN program and graduate to be eligible for this scholarship. Scholarship Limits : If the student has previously received a scholarship from Sumner College, the maximum total scholarship eligibility is $6,000 . Scholarship Disbursement : Academic Performance : Maintain a cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.4 or higher , assessed at the end of the first, second, and third academic years (every three terms). ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS To qualify for the Sumner College Bachelor of Science in Nursing Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
