Important points

4 Payment

1 Purchasing your registration

Registrations are not sold for less than the starting price.

You will be liable for all bids made using your bidder details.

Registrations cannot be purchased before the auction.

If you are successful, the price you will pay will be your winning bid price, plus VAT on the bid price, a 3% buyer’s premium (+ VAT on the buyer’s premium) and an £80 assignment fee.

If unsold, registrations cannot be bought after the auction.

A deposit may be required in order to bid (Amex not accepted).

2 Bidding strategy

Payment must be made in full within 5 working days of the auction finish (we do not accept cheques or cash). Payment can be made using one debit or credit card only. There is no facility to spread the payment over 2 or more cards.

Bids are submitted on a “maximum bid” basis. “Maximum bids” are not visible to any other bidder.

Bidding starts at the starting price*. If there is competitive bidding, bids will automatically be taken in £10 increments up to your maximum bid. We strongly recommend you place your maximum bid early as there is no advantage to leaving your bid until the last minute.

Late payment charges apply. Please see Terms & Conditions on pages 58-61.
