As offshore hiring accelerates, many businesses are realising that their traditional hiring playbook doesn’t travel well. This article explores how to evaluate offshore talent properly when proximity, brand names, and familiar signals no longer apply.

they lack confidence in evaluating candidates they will never meet in person. When you can’t meet in person, can’t read body language in a room, and don’t recognise the logos on a CV, your usual hiring instincts start to wobble. The risk isn’t that offshore candidates aren’t capable. The risk is that many companies evaluate them using the wrong lens.
