Multi-faceted entrepreneur, Rebecca Williston, launches her BEX Styles storefront. Having recently opened on March 1st, Rebecca reveals that BEX Styles is her 50th birthday gift to herself. This is a dream that Rebecca has imagined for years and now bringing this vision to life, she is filled with enthusiasm and pride. While Rebecca has embarked on BEX Styles as a solo venture, she declares that she is certainly surrounded by support. Her husband of 31 years, Scott, led the renovations in the space. “He is the one who pushed me,” Rebecca smiles. While owning a construction company together, BEX Styles is Rebecca’s opportunity to embrace complete creative liberty on the fashion scene. As well, Rebecca’s former colleague, Barb, lent a hand in setting up shop before opening day. “I want you to succeed,” she would lovingly say to Rebecca. Expressing her gratitude, Rebecca proceeds to highlight her former work: “I absolutely loved working at Northern Reflections. They gave me such an opportunity to grow.” As Rebecca appreciates from personal experience, life can change overnight. “Don’t wait to pursue your dreams,” she encourages. Rebecca candidly shares that she developed cavernomas, which caused frequent seizures. She underwent a procedure on her right temporal lobe, delightfully reporting that she has been seizure-free since 2014. Leaping into this next chapter, Rebecca urges, “You gotta get up and try,” – an uplifting mantra, which she has tattooed on her arm.
