The following graphs are a midyear comparison (January - June, 2020) of Fort Worth (909,585) to benchmark cities with either a similar population or proxim- ity. Comparable cities with their population noted in parentheses include: Dallas, TX (1,343,573), Austin, TX (978,908), El Paso, TX (681,728), Charlotte-Mecklenburg, NC (885,708), Columbus, OH (898,553), Jacksonville, FL (911,507), and San Francisco, CA (881,549). The population data source is the U.S. Census Bureau. Crime offense comparable data source is the Major Cities Chiefs Association.
