Madinia® Dipladenia Patio Playbook

Tech Tips: • Combo recipes are created for variety compatibility of cultural requirements and vigor.

• High light and warm temperatures will improve plant quality, promote flowering and help reduce crop times. Provide average daily temperatures of 73 °F (23 °C), DLI levels above 15 mols/day and a 14-hour photoperiod, especially during the final 10 weeks of production. • Keep substrate pH at 5.8-6.2 and feed consistently with 200 - 250 ppm N using a 14-4-14, 15-5-15 or 17-5-17 fertilizer. • Pinch plants when they are well rooted into the container. Apply a spray of Configure ® (300 ppm) to improve branching. Shear no later than 10 weeks before sale. • PGRs: • To prevent flower delay, avoid B-Nine ® WSG sprays too close to finish (6 weeks before sale); Sumagic ® sprays at 5 to 7 ppm can be applied to control growth. • Use Bonzi ® drenches if needed closer to finish to help hold and tone plants. Use recommended rates to avoid cupping of foliage. Bonzi ® drenches at 1 ppm are recommended for Madinia ® Petite, but no higher than 2 ppm accumulative concentration. Bonzi ® drenches at 2 ppm are recommended for Madinia ® and Madinia ® Maximo.
