Arden Software Acquires Cimex Corporation
Park City, Utah based Arden Software North America, pro- viders of Impact CAD-CAM and other design and workflow related software solutions for the print and packaging in- dustries, has announced the acquisition of Massachusetts based Cimex Corporation, developers of CimPACK Soft- ware for the die-making and packaging industries. Now combined, Arden and Cimex benefit their custom- ers globally as one of the largest providers of structural design and workflow automation software for the print and packaging industries. “We have over 18,000 stations op- erating world-wide and an installation base that continues to grow,” states Jim Silianoff, President of Arden Software North America. “Although in some instances operating as competitors, we have worked closely for many years to provide innovative solutions for our mutual customers. Now, in addition to continuing to support our existing product families, we will combine our individual strengths as we develop and provide a new generation of software tools with unmatched levels of innovation, collaboration and unmatched efficiency. Arden Software and Cimex will continue business as usual. CCL Industries To Acquire Graphic West International

Toronto, Canada based CCL Industries Inc. a packag- ing solutions provider for global corporations, government institutions, small businesses and consumers, announced it signed a binding agreement to acquire Graphic West In- ternational (GWI), a specialized digital printer of short-run folding cartons for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries with operations in Europe and North America. GWI is headquartered in Horsholm, Denmark, with manufacturing operations in Nowogard, Poland, and Ty- ler, Texas, in the United States, The enterprise value of the transaction, net of cash and debt, is approximately $36 million. Sales for the twelve months ending June 30, 2020, are approximately $42 million with an estimated ad- justed EBITDA of $6 million. GWI will be integrated into CCL’s Healthcare & Specialty business and will immediate- ly adopt their trading identity.
