Students can explore three career pathways: • Food Science, Dietetics, and Nutrition – Learn about food, health, and how nutrition impacts people’s lives. • Food Service and Hospitality – Develop skills in cooking, customer service, and restaurant management. • Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation – Discover careers in travel, event planning, hotels, and recreation services. Programs in this sector combine classroom learning with hands-on projects, work-based experiences, and leadership opportunities, such as those offered through Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Students gain skills in teamwork, customer service, nutrition, event planning, and management, while also building creativity, cultural awareness, and problem-solving abilities. With options to continue on to college, technical training, or direct entry into a career, students can open doors to exciting jobs in the food, travel, and hospitality industries—fields that allow them to work with people, explore the world, and create memorable experiences.
