Figure 18: E xisting mid - block crosswalk, activated by detection only
S Lake Street This is a side stop-controlled intersection. The southern leg is a one -way exit. The northern leg is slightly offset and has some on -street parking. There is a bus shelter on the southern side of Pennsylvania Ave between 5 th Avenue and S Lake Street. There is not enough sidewalk in front of this bus shelter. Amenities for the bus stop on the northern side of Pennsylvania Avenue are also recommended; curren tly there is only a bench and small sign. There is a mid -block crosswalk across Pennsylvania Avenue at this intersection.
