Stay Cyber-Safe This Holiday Season

The holidays are a busy time—not just for us, but for scammers too. As online shopping, travel, and digital communication ramp up, so do attempts to trick users into giving away information or money. Here are some common scams to keep on your radar:

Common Holiday Scams

• Fake online stores advertising steep, unrealistic discounts. • Package delivery scams with fraudulent links to “track” or “reschedule” packages. • Gift card requests from someone impersonating a company contact. • Phony charity solicitations designed to capture your payment information. • Too-good-to-be-true travel deals that lead to fake booking site.

How to Protect Yourself

• Avoid links in unexpected emails or texts. • Verify websites before making purchases. • Never send payments via gift cards, wire transfers, or other unusual methods. • Enable two-factor authentication for all key accounts. • Report suspicious messages immeditely.

If something feels off—especially anything urgent, emotional, or involving payments— don’t respond. Report it to our team or delete the message.

Stay safe and enjoy the holiday season!
