REW Lehigh Valley celebrated the holiday season with a festive
luncheon at Ben Franklin TechVentures2 followed by a tour of the building, located on the Mountaintop Campus of Lehigh University. The 47,000 s/f addition to the original Ben Franklin TechVentures business technology incuba- tor/post-incubator facility was dedicated in the fall of 2011. The 17-million-dollar project is LEED certified and includes wet labs, office/meet- ing space, and a new parking garage. The building has strong CREW associations as it was designed by Spillman Farmer Architects, Bethle- hem, with civil and structural engineering by Barry Isett & Associates, Allentown; both companies are 2012 CREW sponsors. Members enjoyed being “Secret Santas” by bringing gifts to the luncheon to benefit youngsters who live at the Children’s Home of Easton and clients of The Turning Point, a non-profit organiza- tion that provides refuge for victims of domestic abuse. The event was made even more festive due to table deco- rations designed by member Joanne Kostecky, president of Joanne Kostecky Garden Design. ■
