ASSESSMENT to Inform Instruction PreK On MyWay ’s responsive, evidence-based assessments help teachers make the most of their time with students. In PreK On MyWay, teachers can observe and assess children through: Large-Group Circle Time: Music and movement activities can reveal phonological awareness, pattern-making, gross motor, and creative expression skills. Large-Group Story Time: Children demonstrate their display read-aloud comprehension and language, math, writing, and executive function skills. Small-Group Activities: Children can be observed using the target skills for each week. Independent Centers: Manipulatives, books, and conversation prompts can be used to support children’s learning and create opportunities for observation.
