SAFE DISTANCE
NO BOOTS ON THE GROUND
STAY AT LEAST 7 METERS FROM WORKING PLANT AND EQUIPMENT UNLESS PROTECTED BY HARD BARRIERS.
DO NOT ENTER AREAS ON FOOT WHICH ARE DESIGNATED AS “NO BOOTS ON THE GROUND.”
(Only if absolutely necessary to approach working equipment and enter the hazard zone, first get eye contact with the operator and wait for equipment to stop and be switched off before approaching.)

AUTHORISED OPERATIONS
BEFORE WORK STARTS ENSURE MEPI PLANS ARE IMPLEMENTED AND OPERATORS ARE TRAINED AND AUTHORISED.
USE DESIGNATED WALKWAYS AND CROSSING POINTS.

STOP & REPORT
STOP WORK IMMEDIATELY AND REPORT TO YOUR SUPERVISOR IF YOU WITNESS BREACHES OF RULE 1-4
