Environmental Highlights
1) Project Chemical Management In 2025, various works were conducted on chemical storage, chemical use, and chemical waste management within the project. Mobile chemical containers were purchased for the work sites. COSHH forms were prepared in 5 languages for 215 chemicals to enable safe chemical management. In addition, construction began on a central hazardous waste storage area for hazardous chemical waste in Gostivar Camp.
2) Project Waste Management D emonstrates that environmental management is not “just a requirement,” but an integral part of operations. They provide clear commitment through an environmental policy built on the following principles: Compliance with legal and other requirements Pollution prevention Continuous improvement This policy is communicated to all employees and relevant stakeholders, creating a shared framework for achieving EMS objectives.
3) Operational Controls and Core Programs To manage environmental risks on-site, the following core programs are implemented: Waste Management Source separation, recycling practices, and disposal through licensed facilities. Wastewater Management Treatment components and routine inspection/control steps. Chemical Management Storage, transport, and disposal procedures for hazardous materials (HAZMAT). Biodiversity Management Protection and monitoring of sensitive areas. Environmental Monitoring Noise measurements, site inspections, and reporting. Environmental Training Regular training programs to raise employee awareness.
• 359,230 kg of metal • 5590kg of Non-Hazardous HDPE Drums • 5840 kg of waste kitchen oil • 1800 kg of waste oil filter • 1875 kg of waste fuel filter • 665 kg of waste air filter • 21450 kg of waste mechanical oil A total of 75,100 EUR has been gained from waste management throughout the project.
