FAQs Do I need previous care experience to become a Care Professional? Not at all. Many of our Care Professionals join us from completely different backgrounds. We provide full training and ongoing support to help you build the skills and confidence you need to deliver exceptional care. Will I have support once I start visiting clients? Absolutely. You’ll never be on your own. Our office team and senior Care Professionals are always available to guide, support, and help you develop as you gain experience in the field. Can I choose the hours I work? We offer working patterns to suit your lifestyle and commitments. Whether you’re looking for part-time hours, full-time work, or live-in opportunities, we’ll work with you to find a balance that fits. What if a client requires specialist care? Some clients may have more complex needs, such as dementia or palliative care. In those cases, we offer additional, fully supported training to ensure you feel confident and capable. Are there opportunities to progress in my career? Definitely. At Home Instead, we encourage continuous learning and professional growth. You can progress into roles such as Nail Care, On-Call and Field Care Supervisor. Why choose to work with Home Instead? We believe care should start with compassion - for our clients and our team. You’ll be part of a supportive, values-driven organisation that puts people first, offers ongoing learning, and celebrates the meaningful difference you make every day.
