EZ Shuffle Fibre Management Solution EZ Shuffle Fibre Management Solution supports up to 16 fibres per ribbon and up to 16 ribbons per shuffle. The casing is made from a non- outgassing, UL 94V-0 material and meets the requirements of GR-2866. Established in 1992, US Conec is a leader in providing passive components for high density optical interconnects. The company was founded to expand the use of MT style multifibre technology through the design, manufacturing and sales of high precision fibre optic components.

US Conec’s EZ Shuffle high-precision fibre management solution brings a unique, cost effective way to manufacture and store fibre shuffles in high density applications. The component design facilitates fibre routing meshes of up to 256 fibres and supports various configurations including ribbon fibre to ribbon fibre, round cable to round ribbon fibre, and round cable to round cable. Precision manufactured slots in the base maintain fibre order during the shuffling process ensuring proper fibre routing in complex shuffling applications. The compact solution is ideal for storage on or under the host PCB or in a chassis backplane. Furthermore, the EZ Shuffle solution eliminates tight termination tolerances and capital equipment cost drivers associated with planar optical fibre circuits. The

Anritsu signal analyser MS2850A range offers new options for 5G NR testing

Purpose To help facilitate early deployment of 5G services while meeting demands for high- level measurement technologies at lower instrument costs, Anritsu has developed these newly-announced product releases to improve the quality of 5G NR equipment – while cutting costs. Anritsu is a provider of innovative communications solutions; its test and measurement solutions include wireless, optical, microwave/RF and digital instruments,

Anritsu has announced the launch of five new 5G measurement software options for its MS2850A Signal Analyzer. The five new software options are compliant with the 3GPP 5G standards (“5G NR”) and designed to be used for measuring the RF Tx characteristics of next-generation 5G base stations and mobile terminals. The five packages are 5G Standard Measurement Software (“Basic License” – MX285051A); NR TDD sub-6 GHz Downlink (MX285051A-011); NR TDD sub-6 GHz Uplink (MX285051A-061); NR TDD mmWave Downlink (MX285051A-021); and the NR TDD mmWave Uplink (MX285051A-071). Any telecoms operators looking for early deployment of commercial 5G services these modules when combined with MS2850A Signal analyser provide a cost effect solution for fast and stable signal-analysis measurements, such as Tx power, frequency error, EVM, etc., at frequencies below 6 GHz (sub-6 GHz) and in the millimetre wavebands (mmWave) such as 28 GHz band and 39 GHz band. The company states that the MS2850A offers the same or better dynamic range and amplitude/phase flatness as higher-end models but at a better cost-performance point, assuring both high- precision signal analysis and higher finished product quality at a lower instrument cost.

operations support systems and solutions that can be used during R&D, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance. The company also provides precision microwave/RF components, optical devices, and high-speed devices for design into communication products and systems. With the addition of OSS monitoring solutions, it has expanded its offering to provide complete solutions for existing and next-generation wireline and wireless communication systems and service providers.
