Key areas of responsibility:
• Management of all school premises, facilities, site management, catering, cleaning, transport, contract management and all service arrangements.
• Management of relevant support and administrative staff.
• Coordination of all the school policies; ensuring stakeholders have completed them and that they are up to date. • Management of Health & Safety to ensure relevant policies and procedures, required by law, are in place and delivered effectively.
• Be an active member of the Whole School Leadership Team (WSLT).
• Ensure that aspects of the School’s Development Plan and its targets are delivered efficiently and to best value. • Monitor and implement policies and procedures to ensure all legislative and regulatory requirements are adhered to.
• Work with SLT colleagues to promote the efficient and effective use of resources.
• Keep the COO fully up-to-date and informed about all allocated areas of responsibility, and report any significant problems as appropriate and within a reasonable timeframe.
